This tour is based on accommodation at Samburu Game Lodge, Mt Kenya Safari Club, Lake Bogoria Spa & Resort and in Maasai Mara, accommodation is based on various options but several other accommodation can be arranged to suit your needs upon request.

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast depart Nairobi at 0700hrs and drive to Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Samburu Game.

Samburu National Reserve is located 325 kms north of Nairobi in the hot and arid northern region of Kenya. The reserve is placed within the ancestral lands of the Samburu, who are close relatives of the Maasai. Despite being so far flung, the reserve harbours a number of species rarely found anywhere else.

Among these are Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe and the beisa oryx, all of which are only found north of the equator.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Optional visit to Samburu villages at an extra cost.

Day 3: Samburu – Mount Kenya National Park
Depart from Samburu after lunch and drive to Mt Kenya arriving in time for lunch at Mount Kenya Safari Club.

In the afternoon, have a game drive at the park.

Day 4: Mount Kenya – Lake Bogoria National Park
Leaving from Lake Nakuru after breakfast with a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau, arriving at Lake Bogoria in time for Lunch.

Have an afternoon day trip to the Lake to explore the Geysers and Hot spring and in a good day you will view Kudus, Antelopes, Giraffes.

Day 5: Lake Bogoria – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early breakfast at the lodge then depart with lunch enroute to Maasai Mara arriving in the late afternoon.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight.Birds, too, are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey.

The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well-spread rainfall year round.Rain, when it falls almost always chooses the late afternoon or night. Between July and October, when the great wildebeest migration is in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the sensation is unparalleled.

Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

0630 hrs -Early morning game drive in the Mara. Later, return to the camp for late breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure.(On this day, you also have an optional balloon ride- at an extra cost with pick up from the lodge at 0500hrs)

1600 hrs -After lunch at the lodge, proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk.

Dinner and overnight at either Mara Sopa Lodge/Keekorok Lodge/Mara Leisure Camp/Mara Serena Lodge or similar.

Day 7: Maasai Mara- Nairobi

Breakfast at the camp and at 0800hrs return to Nairobi arriving at around 1300 hrs with drop off at your hotel or at the airport.

– Transport based on a Safari vehicle with pop up roof for game viewing
– Driver allowances and park fees for vehicle and driver

– Balloon Safari which can be arranged at a cost of US$ 410 per person subject to confirmation at the time of booking. (Price variation on the balloon safari depends on your lodge choice and the balloon carrier that operates in the lodge location)
